I am honored to present Jasper Bennett as one of Mayville Elementary School’s first grade students of the month.

I chose Jasper because he has grown so much. Jasper is kind and attentive to his classmates. He follows along during instruction and has built wonderful relationships this year. He has become so independent and it has been so amazing to witness all of his successes this year.

Jasper is the son to Kenneth and Amber Bennett. He has 3 brothers at home. Two of them are older; Benjamin and Avery, while the 3rd is younger and his name is Rome. He has 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Jasper’s favorite food is hot dogs.. If he could choose any restaurant to go out to eat at he would choose Burger King because it has play place. His favorite thing about school is math. His favorite subject at school is also math. He loves all things Grinch related and said his favorite book would be The Grinch. Jasper’s favorite color is red. While he is at home he enjoys playing minecraft and going swimming. Some of Jasper’s good friends are Ryan and Genevieve. When he grows up he would like to work at a restaurant; specifically McDonald’s for the free food.

Jasper’s personality has shined so brightly and he is such a joy to have in class. You can always count on him for a good laugh and a hug. He is a great example of what it takes to be student of the month.
