I am pleased to introduce Neva Burnham as one of my Students of the Month for the month of January. Neva is the daughter of Katrina and Michael Burnham, and she has an older sister named Faith. Neva also has two cats named Sophie and Tiger Lilly. 

Neva is a very reliable and trustworthy student. She is always helpful to everyone around her and can be counted on to do the right thing. Neva follows directions, works hard, and consistently gives her best effort. She is kind to her classmates and is always willing to lend a helping hand. It is truly a joy having her in my classroom. 

Neva does an excellent job meeting all C.A.T.S. expectations. She chooses wisely, acts responsibly, treats others with respect, and stays safe. She participates in class discussions and shows a positive attitude toward learning. 

Outside of school, Neva enjoys gymnastics and softball. She also likes playing basketball and creating art. At home, she enjoys spending time playing with her sister and participating in family games. 

Neva's favorite subjects in school are reading and history. She enjoys reading and thinks it is cool to learn about things that happened long ago. Her favorite food is macaroni and cheese. When she grows up, Neva would like to be a teacher because she thinks tbe writing part looks fun and she likes being the boss. 

I have greatly enjoyed having Neva in my classroom. She is a wonderful student with a bright future ahead.
