Julia Maize has been nominated for the May 2025 Student of the Month for Mrs. LeValley’s class. She is the daughter of Richard and Kathy Maize and her family resides in Mayville, MI. Julia also has siblings and a dog named Luna. Julia is very thoughtful and a kind young lady. She enjoys basketball, animals, listening to music, playing Blockblast and she loves hot Cheetos. Some of her favorites include her favorite season which is summer because it’s not cold out, her favorite song is “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys, her favorite movie is Avatar, her favorite subject is math because it is easier than writing and her favorite place to be is home. When Julia grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian, but her biggest dream is to be a professional basketball player. Julia enjoys 5th grade because she gets to hang out with her friends. She wants the 4th graders moving up to know that 5th grade is easy!  Julia was chosen as my student of the month because of her drive for learning and the great growth she has accomplished this year. Julia’s behavior is an excellent example for her peers, always being cooperative and considerate. Julia always gives her best effort in all her classes and works without hesitation or complaint. She is a great help to her peers and teachers whether it’s helping a peer with their work or assisting her teachers with tasks, you can always count on her. I have had the pleasure of working with Julia for almost two years and she strives to meet and exceed expectations daily and her eagerness to learn will take her far. I am very proud of Julia for her accomplishments and wish her the best in Middle School.
