Laythen Wolkens was selected to be the 5th Grade Student of the Month in Mrs. Guinther’s class. He is the son of Andrew and Jena Wolkens and brother to Westin. His favorite subject in school is Math. He thinks that Math is easy. Laythen’s favorite part of 5th grade is it’s fun and math. His favorite food is Chinese food and his favorite color is black. When Laythen gets older he wants to be a Youtuber for Minecraft or a phone designer.

Laythen was chosen as student of the month for his exemplary behavior. Laythen is always on task and participates in class discussions. He always gives his best effort in class and it shows in his work. Laythen is always willing to help when needed. He is a great role model for younger students. Laythen’s advice to this year's 4th graders is to pay attention, 5th grade is harder. Congratulations, Laythen!
