Savannah Weber-Russell has earned the distinction of Salutatorian of the Class of 2026.  Savannah is the daughter of Melissa and Joe Russell and Chris Weber.  Savannah is a remarkable young lady who was involved in many activities throughout her time here at Mayville. 
Savannah served as President of the National Honor Society, was a member of the Executive Board and a Class Representative in the Student Council, and was a member of the Academic Games English Team. Savannah was also Captain of the Varsity Volleyball Team this year and is on the Softball Team as well. On top of all this, Savannah managed to spend half of her day completing Dual Enrollment classes and will graduate with 27 college credits. 
As amazing as she has been here at Mayville, I know that she will have no problems fitting in next year at Saginaw Valley State University. Her goal is to work towards a Masters in Pediatric Occupational Therapy. With her hard work and determination, I have no doubt that she can accomplish this.
