Kayla Nelson is a new student this year and she has made some great first impressions. Kayla has been selected as student of the month for her kind, polite personality. She is a joy to have in class and always working hard. Kayla said that so far she likes Literature class the best. Her favorite thing about Mayville so far is making new friends. Kayla has joined the Cheer team this year and might be interested in playing volleyball in future years.

Kayla is the daughter of Laura Garland and Daniel Nelson and she has a 9 year old brother named Jerry. She has 2 cats named Plum and Pixie. Kayla's advice to others is to "Be yourself." We are glad that Kayla has joined our school and hope that she continues to do fantastic things!!
